2 tanks of 9 x 6 m
The existing lamellar installation was in perfect condition, but had a very low performance, which limited the overall capacity of the DWTP.
Technology replaced: Lamellar modules with tubular channels with sergeant gallon geometry.

The water inlet and distribution system to the tank was remodeled, which generated very accentuated imbalances, limiting the treatment capacity of the decanter to values around 50% of its theoretical design capacity.
The installation was carried out with Wss40-12-HV lamellar modules that incorporate their homogenization system for the perfect balance of the ascension flows over the entire surface of the lamellar package, reaching the nominal capacity of the decanter. The landfill canals did not need to be replaced, evacuating the treated water through the holes through which the previously installed canals poured. It is the first lamellar decanter in the world that does not incorporate landfill channels for evacuation.
Finally, an automatic cleaning equipment keeps the lamellar package clean and at 100% capacity.
