The ETAP has 4 settlers of 20 x 6 m
Design flow rate: 850 m3/h
The existing lamellar installation was in good condition, but had a maximum yield of around 50%, limiting the overall capacity of the ETAP.
Replaced technology: Lamellar modules with tubular polystyrene channels and stainless steel frame. Module height 1,300 mm and average orthogonal distance between lamellae of 44 mm.
The entry of water into these tanks is made from the head to be evacuated through longitudinal weirs at the end of the tank.
WssDynamics has carried out the conversion of the 4 settlers by replacing the existing modules and removing the longitudinal spillway channels. These canals, given their poor condition, were contemplated to be replaced in the project, an item that the property has been able to save.
Again, the nominal capacity of each settler comfortably reaches 100% of the design flow rate.
Finally, an automatic cleaning equipment keeps the lamellar package clean and at maximum capacity, allowing 24/365 operation.
